Buchanan Street & Buchanan Galleries
packed with the biggest names in retail
Out of the hotel and to the right is Buchanan Street, one of the main shopping thoroughfares in Glasgow, it is renowned for its variety in high street shopping. At its north end are the Buchanan Galleries and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. The Princes Square mall and a flagship branch of the House of Fraser department store are opposite, and the street meets Argyle Street at the south, just north of St. Enoch Square.

OVO Hydro

The OVO Hydro is an iconic music venue located in Glasgow, on the site of the Scottish Event Campus (SEC). The arena has a capacity of 14,300, officially opened on 30 September 2013, with a concert by Rod Stewart. The OVO Hydro plays host to national and international music mega stars as well as global entertainment and sporting events. The OVO Hydro currently stages around 140 events in Glasgow every year. Attracting an audience of over 1 million visitors each year, the venue is consistently ranked by Pollstar in the top three arenas globally, alongside iconic venues like Madison Square Garden and The O2 in London.
