Do you have questions before booking or in advance of your stay? On this page we answer all your questions about our hotel and the facilities.
General information
You can use your room from 15:00 and check-out is daily at 12 noon. Are you coming a little earlier? Then you can always leave your suitcase with us. We cannot guarantee that you can already use the room. Prefer to stay a little longer? Then you can book a late check out at the reception. You can stay 3 hours longer from just €15.
The reception is open every day and there is always someone present, even at night. If you need anything, you can call number '9' via the telephone in the room.
The hotel has 183 rooms, 2 restaurants, a bar, 7 meeting rooms and a Health Center. The Health Center consists of a swimming pool, several saunas and a fitness. Bike rental and massages are also offered here. In addition, room service, laundry service and wake-up service are offered.
Did you book directly with us? Then the cancellation policy depends on the rate. You can find this in your confirmation. Did you book through one of our booking partners? Please contact them to cancel or for more information.

At the reception we accept the following payment methods: pin (contactless), cash and credit card. If you do not have a credit card when booking, you can pay via a payment link.
The municipal tourist tax is €6.00 per person per night over 2024. The tourist tax does not apply to residents of The Hague, please indicate this at the reception.
It is allowed if the parents have a written statement. We also ask for a copy of the passport of all minor guests (when they come without an adult).
The boulevard of Scheveningen has bustling restaurants and various shops. There are various attractions on the boulevard such as SeaLife, Legoland and De Pier. In addition, you can walk for hours on the beach or through the dunes and you can visit the city center of The Hague.
Have you forgotten something in the room? Then we register this on the iLost website. Here you can easily create an account and indicate what you have forgotten. If this corresponds to the found object, we will send the object to you as soon as possible or you can collect it from us. You can find all lost and found items on our iLost page.

Room facilities
All our rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, minibar, mirror, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, television, a seat in the room and a seat on the balcony.
Most Executive rooms on the 2nd floor and all Deluxe rooms on the 1st floor have a bath in the bathroom.
A baby cot can be placed in every roomtype.
There is sufficient space for an extra bed in the Deluxe room and the family room.
All rooms have beds that are 200 cm by 200 cm.
It is possible to enter our rooms by wheelchair. We are happy to help you personally to choose a suitable room for you. You can contact our reservations department at reservations@beach.carlton.nl or at +31(0)70 354 14 14.
Yes, we offer room service for various dishes and drinks. We charge a room service charge of €7 per order. The opening times for the Room Service are from 07:00-22:00
No, but we do take great care in cleaning our rooms. The floor in the rooms consists partly of laminate and partly of carpet.
Parking and cycling
We have our own parking lot. We advise to reserve a place in advance. Our regular rate is €25 per 24 hours or €3.40 per hour. Adjusted prices apply in the low season. For the latest update, see the contact page. When our car park is full, we refer you to the Interparking Boulevard car park and Parking Zwarte Pad.
Note: When you would like to park in the streets around the hotel, we would like to point out the various limitations for parking here. Please read the information boards in the streets.
TIP! Parking spaces can also be reserved at Interparking Boulevard Car Park in advance. Check their website for more information.
Yes, there are 8 electric charging points available in our parking garage. Parking spaces can be reserved in advance through our reception.
The hotel has a bicycle shed, which is located next to the hotel car park. The bicycle shed is not covered and not secured.
Yes, we offer both e-bikes and normal bicycles. We always advise you to use e-bikes for a nice ride through the dunes. We rent out touring bikes, e-bikes and mountain bikes. We also offer child seats and children's bicycles, which must be reserved in advance.

The hotel is easily accessible by bus and tram. A tram and bus stop is located next to the hotel.
Restaurant
From Monday to Friday you can enjoy breakfast in our Beach Brasserie from 07:00 – 10:00. On weekends this is possible until 11:00.
You can dine in the Smugglers Grill from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
The Beach Brasserie is open for lunch from 12:00 – 16:00.
The bar is open daily from 17:00 – 00:00.
Breakfast costs for children up to and including 11 years are €10. At dinner we have a special children's menu for €12.50.
The breakfast is an international breakfast and consists of fresh rolls, croissants, fresh spreads and vegetables, live cooking egg station, toppings such as bacon, fresh juices and smoothies, yogurt with surprising types of granola, pancakes, toast, crackers, gingerbread and various sweets. Of course you can also make fresh coffee, such as cappuccino, latte machiato and black coffee.
Health Center
Yes, this is included in your stay, as is the use of the fitness. We do ask for a surcharge of €10 for the use of the saunas and steam bath.
Yes, we ask you to make a reservation in advance for use of the swimming pool. In addition, the pool can be used for 30 minutes per room, so that as many people as possible can use the pool.
The Health Center is open on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The saunas are open every day from 10:00.
Swimwear is not allowed in all indoor saunas. Yes, in the outdoor sauna. We ask that you always bring a towel with you. If you don't have one, it can be rented at the desk for €2. A bathrobe can also be rented at the desk for €4.
Stay with a dog
We are a pet-friendly hotel, dogs are allowed in the hotel and in the room. However, some room types are excepted. Gos are allowed at all the Comfort rooms. Also, dogs are allowed in the breakfast room. We are happy to prepare a separate area where you can have breakfast in peace with your dog. We ask you to collect breakfast from the breakfast buffet without your dog. We allow a maximum of 1 dog per room.
Thank you for informing us in advance that you will be bringing your dog. If you want to use a dog bed, it must be reserved in advance. This can be booked through the reception. We offer a Dog Pamper Package for €12.50. The dog gets a food and water bowl and a dog basket.
We charge €22.50 per night for a dog (or other pets). You can already indicate when booking that you are coming with a dog. If you have not yet passed this on, please inform our reservations department as soon as possible.
